Mr Chand said his daughter was the reason for him to come this far in his life.
“Being a father is a great feeling. It’s like giving a life to someone who has been waiting for miracle in life, he said.
He said there was nothing special than the day his daughter was born—because that was the day his world became brighter.
“My journey of becoming a father was challenging for me. From the day I received the news of becoming a father, I’m enjoying every beat of fatherhood,” Mr Chand said.
“I have learnt a lot during that period of time and my experience was honestly one of the best feeling ever.”
Mr Chand said one of the toughest things about being a dad was accepting the reality of life.
“In all these years, I’ve learnt about sacrifice, patience and how to overcome fear,” he added.
“The sacrifices has been worth every second, because it made me stronger.”
He said he had always set priorities for his daughter, even if he had busy work schedules.
“I will always give my daughter the love and time she needs from me. Yes, there are times when work becomes hectic, but I manage myself and did what I could for my daughter,” he said.
Mr Chand said every single moment about his daughter was precious about.
“As a father, I appreciate whatever she does for me. Appreciation helps develop self-confidence and it also helps my child to identify what’s right and what’s wrong and prevents her from feeling neglected,” he said.
“I am always open to her about my life because it is important for my child to know the real me, which means the child should know the kind of person I am.
“Every human makes mistakes. If I have made any mistakes, I always talk to my child about the issues and help her learn from my very own experiences.
“Holding an unrealistic positive image of myself will not be helpful neither for me or for my daughter. I have always supported her and my daughter knows how much her Papa (father) loves her.”
Mr Chand said he would be celebrating Father’s Day at home with his daughter.
“I believe home is the best place to be and it will keep us connected with all my family and my daughter loves to play with her grandparents, he said.
He said father was someone we looked up to no matter how grown up we are.
“My father always provided me a safe place and he never left me alone. I always had his entire support from education to the things I wanted in my life.
“I wish all the fathers a Happy Father’s Day.”
