The slow rollout of the COVID-19 booster vaccine is a cause of concern for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, says Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete.
He added that as of April 8, a total of 119,857 individuals have so far received booster doses which was slightly more than 20 per cent of the targeted population.
“There are pockets of the population that remain an issue with the ministry in terms of COVID-19 vaccination numbers,” he said.
