SODELPA provisional candidates for the next general elections gathered at the Fijian Teachers Association Hall, in Suva, yesterday for what is understood to be a preparatory workshop for the polls.
The candidates were joined by party supporters in what evolved into a closed meeting.
It is believed discussions high on the agenda were to do with media issues and the party’s social media policy.

Members of Parliament Aseri Radrodro, Mikaele Leawere and Viliame Gavoka were seen at the meeting.
The party had invited its representatives from other provinces outside Suva to be present.
Adi Litia Qionibaravi, the party’s general secretary did not respond to the questions emailed to her earlier in the day.
Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka was also not reachable.
