Son restores father’s 1956 Morris Oxford
“My dad bought that car in 1950s as it was his first wedding car so since then it has been with us and I had redone some of the parts but apart from that, it is still in a perfect running condition,” Mr Patel said.

Giving life to old classic cars is a labor of love for car enthusiast Jais Patel who owns a 1956 Morris Oxford.
One of several classic cars owned and remodeled by Mr Patel, the 1956 Morris Oxford car is a very special car.
It was formerly owned by Mr Patel’s late father, who had bought the manual four speed midsize family car in the 1950s.

Mr Patel had remodeled his late father’s 1956 Morris Oxford, to be one of 150 cars showcased at the Riding Dirty Fiji Car Club car show.
