Sovatabua survived by wife, four children
Witnesses, who retrieved Mr Sovatabua’s body from the river said, his face was covered with bruises and had an open cut to his mouth.

The man, whose body was discovered floating in the Rewa River near Nadali, on June 18, has been identified as Petero Sovatabua.
Mr Sovatabua is survived by his wife and four children.
The 38-year-old was a former Marist Brothers High School student.

Mr Sovatabua’s body was found drifting in the river by some residents, who pulled his body onto a bamboo raft, and waited for the Police to arrive at the scene.
On arrival, Police officers tied the raft to a Police boat and towed it to the Wainibokasi mortuary.
Police investigations continue.
