Spartan Fiji Back in November

The inaugural Spartan Fiji last year brought more than 3000 participants, contributing close to $7.8 million to Fiji’s economy.

Spartan is a global brand in endurance sports.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Viliame Gavoka said there was huge excitement for Fiji to welcome the 2024 Spartan event in November, following the success of last year’s event.

Partnered with Fiji Government, Fiji Airways, and the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, the event takes place at the Aviva Racecourse in Sabeto, Nadi from November 14 to 17.

Spartan Australia, NZ & Fiji managing director and chief executive officer Russell Nelms who has been a part of Spartan since 2015 racing both in Australia and overseas, said they wanted to build on the success of 2023.

Spartan Fiji has obstacle races starting at 5000 kilometers, and building up with 10km, 21km and 50km. It also has a special kids race ranging from 1-3km.

There will also be a 10km night trail run and a 4HR Hurricane Heat team-based event.
