Special Award For Nemani Turagaviu After Nabou Tragedy

An emotional Nemani Turagaviu said the accident taught him to always acknowledge God.

A high school student who survived the horrific Nabou road accident in which eight people died in August last year received a special award during the Ratu Navula College cadets passing-out parade yesterday.

An emotional Nemani Turagaviu said the accident taught him to always acknowledge God.

“I know God has a plan for me. I was in tears today when I received the Special Award today,” the 17-year-old said. “When I think back to the horrific Nabou accident I knew in heart that it was through God’s grace that I am alive today.”

Republic of Fiji Military Forces Land Force Commander Colonel Manoa Gadai was chief guest at the parade.
