St Giles Medical Professionals And Staff Praised For Their Work

Minister for Employment Agni Deo Singh acknowl­edged the work and resil­ience dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff of St Giles Psychiatric Hospital.

Mr Singh toured the hospital on Friday and thanked the staff for taking the risk and making sac­rifices.

“Despite the demanding circum­stances, the hospital staff are at high risk at all times helping patients with mental ill-health when compared to normal hospi­tals,” Mr Singh said.

He added that the staff face enormous challenges head-on, working tirelessly to protect and heal the pain and suffering en­countered by the patients.”.
