State To Decide Pool Project

The completion of the $12.6 million swimming pool in Lautoka City will now de­pend on ministerial guidance from the Coalition Government.

This follows the completion of a peer review conducted by the Con­struction Implementation Unit (CIU) of the Ministry of Finance earlier last year.

The peer review was performed to assess, analyse, and ascertain the reasons for the delay in the project. Responding to the Fiji Sun, Min­ister for Finance Biman Prasad did not confirm whether there were still funds to complete the project.
