Student In Hospital After Falling Down Delai Natalau Hills During A Hiking Trip

Police had received a report whereby the victim who had gone hiking with friends fell 5-7m down a hill, sustaining serious injuries.

Joint efforts resulted in the successful rescue of a 15-year-old student from the Delai Natalau Hills in Sabeto yesterday afternoon.

Police had received a report whereby the victim who had gone hiking with friends fell 5-7m down a hill, sustaining serious injuries.

Police officers from the Sabeto Police Station were deployed to the scene, but due to the difficult terrain a decision was made to hire the services of Island Hoppers to help transport the victim to the Hospital.

We acknowledge the support of all emergency service providers and volunteers who assisted in the successful rescue efforts.

The victim is currently admitted in Hospital.
