Students Happy With TELS Write-off, Worry About The Future

Government has agreed to only extend education loans to Semester One, 2023. Anyone who wishes to study from Semester Two onwards will have to pay from their own pockets.

Many students are thanking the coalition Government for its plan to write-off their loans under the Tertiary Education Loans Scheme (TELS)

However, they are worried about how their future education could be financed if they would not qualify for a scholarship.

Government has agreed to only extend education loans to Semester One, 2023. Anyone who wishes to study from Semester Two onwards will have to pay from their own pockets.

Nearly $600 million have been loaned to students.
