Students Plea For Independence Of GCC

Yesterday, some i-taukei students from the University of the South Pacific (USP) pleaded with the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) review team of independence within the Council.

The GCC consultation was held at the Orange Lounge at USP. The review team was represented by Malakai Naiyaga, Mereani Rokotuibau, and Dr Apisalome Movono.

Student Fina Tamanisaqa addressed the importance of independence and transparency for the GCC now that it has been approved again.
