Students Present Concepts On Waste Management With Council

Social Innovation Fiji (SIF) founder Akifumi Kawakami says a third group of students from SIF presented its suggestions on waste management programmes, which would appeal to schools in Lautoka.

Social Innovation Fiji (SIF) founder Akifumi Kawakami says a third group of students from SIF presented its suggestions on waste management programmes, which would appeal to schools in Lautoka.

A total of seven presentations were made by the group to the Lautoka City Council’s (LCC) senior health inspector, Shalend Singh.

The students are from Japan – comprising six university students and one high school student. They were sent here by Social Innovation Fiji, founded by Mr Kawakami.
