Church leaders have rallied support for a worthy cause to improve the livelihoods of residents at Legalega in Nadi.
A dinner at the Bulabard Hotel last weekend, Legalega resident, Alini Vadua Namocemoce, said she was praying to God for better housing and has finally seen a glimpse of hope.
The Bulabard hotel in Wailoaloa is organising a concert to fund the development of Legalega settlement.

It will feature Donnie McClurkin, an American gospel singer.
“I thank Hotel BulaBard for partnering with the Ram Foundation in collaboration with The Rock Church, in organising an awareness programme for community development,” Ms Namocemoce said.
“This Legalega project is to strengthen unity among the various organisations.
“Let’s be an example for the world and be used as vessels to bring answers.”
BulaBard director Allen Ram said their main objective was community development.
“Encouraging local businesses, investors, various religious organisations, and government bodies to work together,” he said.
Gospel singer Donnie McClurkin has won three Grammy Awards, 10 Stellar Awards, two BET Awards, two Soul Train Awards, one Dove Award, and one NAACP Image Award.
He is one of the top-selling gospel artists, selling over 10 million albums. Some of his songs include – Stand, We fall down, Lord I need you.
Organisers are also giving a platform for the AOG gospel singers and the Rock Church Fiji gospel singers to sing alongside Donnie McClurkin in Fijian and Hindi.
The event is sponsored by Farm Boy, Ocean Fillet, Coca-Cola, Punjas and Rock Concert.
