A few years ago, Suva twin sisters made a promise to remain with each other for the rest of their lives.

Yesterday, that had been realised.

The two sisters who had attended the same school and studied in the same class since childhood were among the 130 Year 13 students who were farewelled at Jai Narayan College in Suva.

Grace and Caroline Seviua stood by each other with big smiles as their high school struggle had come to an end.

“We were together from Year 1 to Year 13,” Grace said.

“Our experience at school was really good because we had been supporting each other.

“If one of us was absent one day, we would go home and help catch up with work.”

She said coping up with online classes was something new to them, however, they managed to study well.

“The most challenging part of school was exams, especially last minute studies.

“The worst part was studying on our own and forgetting about our classmates but we got back together to ask for forgiveness.”

The two sisters are planning to become accountants and work at a bank.

“We took the same subjects from Year 9 to Year 13 and now we are planning to do the same at university too.”
