Tabuya Urge Youths To Lodge Complaints
Ms Tabuya clarifies issues against her on social media by former and current supporters in the youth division.

Lynda Tabuya has urged The People’s Alliance’s disgruntled youth members and supporters to lodge a complaint against her to the party.
Clarifying issues against her on social media by former and current supporters in the youth division, the deputy party leader and Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection denied claims of offering job opportunities and others.
Responding from Rwanda, Ms Tabuya said at no stage during the 2022 General Election campaign did she promise any youth member jobs.

Instead, she has been victimised.
“This is an internal party matter that should be resolved through the party mechanism and should never have reached social media,” Ms Tabuya said.
“I call on these youth to respect the constitution and party process and file a complaint against me if they have a grievance, instead of making personal attacks spanning the last six months from behind their keyboards.”
Ms Tabuya said if these youths want to be respected, they must act professionally and be respectful of the process.

“When a few youth started publicly attacking me in February after the elections, I filed a formal complaint against them and it is in the party process,” Ms Tabuya claimed.
“Lesi Taucilagi who was not subject to the complaint started publicly attacking me too without even contacting me to find out why I filed an official complaint.”
