Take Your Money! Take Your Waste!

Japan take your mon­ey, take your waste, and let us protect our children and our ocean!

These were the words that echoed through the streets of Suva on Friday as protestors took to the streets to voice their dis­appointment at Japan’s discharge of treated wa­ter from its Fukushima nuclear plant.

About 500 people includ­ing fish market vendors, villagers, regional repre­sentatives, children and youths turned up to pro­test on the issue.
