Setefano Tabukacivi is the first among his 13 siblings to be badged the head boy of South Taveuni Secondary School.
The 18-year-old from Navakawau Village also wants to be the first police officer in his family.
“I am surprised to be chosen as the head boy of this school which has about 300 students from Years Nine to 13 and I am thinking how to work with 30 prefects,” Setefano said.

“I feel the responsibility my shoulder is heavy now because for the past two years, Year 13 recorded 100 per cent pass rate and I have to work hard as a leader to maintain this record.”

“My aim is to become a pilot because I want to travel around the world.”
The youngest of three siblings said as the pilot’s responsibility was to carry their passengers safely to a particular destination, she aims to maintain the reputation of the school and help students complete 2024 safely.
