Staff of the Taveuni Medical Sub-Division attended the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training this week.
Staff from the Taveuni Medical Sub division are engaged in two medical training to enhance service delivery to patients.
The training is geared to improve the clinical governance in their respective health facility.
As per the Ministry of Health and Medical Services advisory, an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training began for the divisional staff on Wednesday.

The training involved three different groups of sub-divisional staff including other stakeholders.
Permanent Secretary, Dr James Fong, said this training was to strengthen further the IPC practice and compliance at the sub-divisional level.
