Taxi Driver Remanded For Allegedly Stabbing Girlfriend

A taxi driver has been remanded in custody for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend after an argument broke out between them at a secluded place at Wailevu, Labasa, on December 12.

Accused, Sanjeshwar Chand, 41, appeared before Magistrate Senileba Levaci at the Labasa Magistrates Court yesterday.

He was charged with one count of attempted murder after he allegedly used a knife to injure his girlfriend, Neha Chand.
