Tiko Kece Taxis & Hire staff and drivers were all hyped up for Christmas as they decorated their base in Nabua with lights and Christmas trees.
As a result, company secretary Ponijese Saulekaleka advised Tiko Kece drivers to be careful this festive season while operating.
“We have been very closely working with the Fiji Police Force as we had a few incidents of drunk passengers travelling with our service and our drivers getting beaten and robbed,” he said.

“We are safe and responsible with driving behaviour,” Mr Saulekaleka said.
He said the maximum pickup requests were received by telephone calls which were considered safe during Christmas.
“We believe that our drivers follow safety methods while serving the passengers and we also would like to advise passengers to be responsible during the busy season and be careful with their belongings. We provide 24/7 passes to drivers for emergency cases at nights where we can assist passengers who need our help,” Mr Saulekaleka said.
