Police is seeking public assistance in locating sisters, 17-year-old Joana Wativo and 16-year old Unaisi Tuvakalea, both reported missing at the Lami Police Station

The Fiji Police Force is appealing to the public for assistance in locating two sisters who went missing one day apart.

Sixteen-year-old Unaisi Tuvakalea has been missing from home since December 31, 2025, while her sister, 17-year-old Joana Wativo, left home on January 2, 2026.

Both have failed to communicate their whereabouts.

The family lodged a missing persons report at the Lami Police Station on January 4, 2026.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers on 919 or the Southern Division Command Centre on 9905 529.
