A teenage exhibitor at the Northern Division Women’s Expo, Litia Abigale, has turned trash into beautiful home decorations.
The 17-year-old said it was her first participation in such a large-scale expo, but believes this was part of her learning journey.
After consent was given by her mother, Litia agreed for an interview during the women’s expo at Subrail Park in Labasa yesterday.

She also painted some marine organism such as turtle on her canvasses.

She felt proud and confident that her items would be sold out by the end of the expo (today-Friday).
Sales of her turtle home deco was going like hot cakes.
