Thus, Justice Riyaz Hamza declared: “You are free man. All bail conditions are revoked. Now you can travel to Tavua.”

Kumar’s lawyer Jitendra Reddy made an application for a stop departure of his client be lifted and personal items with police to be returned.

Outside court, Kumar requested the police department to find those responsible for the crime.

“Because I was wrongly charged. This release will allow my children to get justice,” he said.

“I have gone through so much pain and hurt. I lost my wife who was the victim. I was separated from all my children and I was not allowed to go to Tavua. My house was burnt down recently.”
