Third Wave A Matter Of When, Says Dr Fong

The third wave of COVID-19 is not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when it will come, says Ministry of Health and Medical Services permanent secretary Dr James Fong.

Dr Fong said if anything, the third wave would be an escalation of the current delta virus.

“The third wave is likely going to be because we have relaxed our COVID-19 safe measures, because we have congregated, because we are not following COVID-safe guidelines and not from external threat.”
