Fiji Police Force Divisional Commander Central, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Samisoni Naqica, says 31 criminal offences were committed in nightclubs in the Nadi/Namaka and Suva special zones.
This was compared to only 2 in 2021. A major factor in this drop was the closure of nightclubs due to COVID-19.
ASP Naqica said according to the Liquor Act 2009, the two special zones were Nadi/Namaka and Suva.
