A family of eight members couldn’t celebrate Christmas at Vuniyalayala, Labasa after their three-bedroom house was destroyed in fire.
Simione Raiwaileka said they left their house on early morning of December 24, to attend a function in Savusavu.
The 63-year-old father of three children said at around 2pm he received a call from his neighbour informing that was the house was on fire.
