Three Families Visit, Help Single Mother Of 3 Who Lost Job In Fire
The single mother of three has been visited by three families already and some more have expressed their interest in helping with the children’s education.

Christmas is going to be bright after all for Raijeli Vasau, the 41-year-old kitchen hand, who lost her job as a result of a fire that destroyed her work place in Valelevu last week.
The single mother of three has been visited by three families already and some more have expressed their interest in helping with the children’s education.
“I am relieved. All I have to say is that God sent his blessings in the form of these people who have come to the aid of my children and me,” she said.

“These people don’t even know me. I thank everyone from my heart for what they have done to make my children’s Christmas a better one.”
When the Fiji Sun team visited her yesterday, she was preparing for the storm that has been forecasted to hit Fiji by the end of the week.

Ms Vasau hopes that she will find employment in the coming weeks to help her prepare her children for the new school year.
