Close to 10 months since the Commissioner of Police Sitiveni Qiliho was suspended, Minister for Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua is still waiting to hear from the Constitutional Offices Commission on the tribunal hearing for Mr Qiliho.
Qiliho was suspended with full pay on January 27 this year by the President on the advice of the Constitutional Offices Commission (COC).
He was suspended on allegations of misbehaviour effective immediately, pending investigation and referral to and appointment of a tribunal.

"I have no say or no part to play in that," he said.
"Once that process is done, we will then move on."
He said for now Acting Commissioner Juki Fong Chew was assisted by his police officers.
When asked if he would accept the fact if Qiliho was reinstated by the COC after a tribunal, he said: "We will cross that bridge when we get there."
