Tikoisuva Replaces Rabuku as Acting DPP
Ms Tikoisuva is no stranger to the leadership role. She was acting assistant director for DPP under Mr Rabuku's tenure.

Nancy Tikoisuva is the Acting Director for Public Prosecutions ( DPP).
Ms Tikoisuva received her formal appointment notification letter yesterday from President Ratu Willame Katonivere.
Ms Tikoisuva said she received the letter at around 3.30pm after John Rabuku vacated the office on Wednesday.

"My appointment comes at a time when there has been significant changes in the leadership for the office," Ms Tikoisuva said.
"Our focus is to keep the momentum on what has been decided in the office in terms of its strategic directions and I'm just thankful that the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has thought it fit to make the appointment from internally and I have a team, who have provided their support."
Ms Tikoisuva is no stranger to the leadership role. She was acting assistant director for DPP under Mr Rabuku's tenure.
A prominent lawyer by profession, Ms Tikoisuva worked with Toganivalu Legal law firm. She's worked as an External Academic with the University of the South Pacific (USP) and also a consultant with the Food Agricultural Organisation (FAO).
She has more than 18 years of experience, graduated from the University of the South Pacific (USP) in 2003. In 2022, she attained her Masters in Law.
"I am the second local female, the third female in the history of DPPs office and the first iTaukei female to be in this role," she said.
Ms Tikoisuva's message to her female colleagues: "Don't give up, don't be discouraged by bureaucracy, let your work speak for itself."
