Tikoisuva’s contract revoked

Mr Pryde, who was scheduled to resume duties yesterday, has delayed his return to February 3, 2025, to address the new complaint.
President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu has revoked the contract of Acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Nancy Tikoisuva.
The decision was made yesterday, coinciding with the anticipated return of reinstated DPP Christopher Pryde.
Deputy DPP John Rabuku is currently managing the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

Ms Tikoisuva, a legal practitioner with over 18 years of experience, graduated from the University of the South Pacific in 2003 and attained her Master of Laws in 2022.
She was appointed Acting DPP on 11 July 2024, following Mr Pryde’s suspension on 13 April 2023.
On 10 January 2025, the ODPP’s senior management lodged a fresh complaint against Mr Pryde with the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).
