Tikoitoga Named Fijian Envoy To PNG

Former Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Commander, Briga­dier-General Mosese Tikoi­toga, is the new High Com­missioner to Papua New Guinea (PNG).

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere congratulated Mr Tikoitoga on his dip­lomatic appointment and wished him well during the commissioning yesterday.

The reopening of the Fiji High Commission in Port Moresby will ensure lega­cies of friendship, mutual respect, understanding, and allegiance established by founding forefathers, Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, and Sir Michael Thomas Somare, as well as the ef­forts of past mission heads are maintained and car­ried forward.
