A 40-year-old mum of Naboro cannot wait to attend church service with her family after months of restrictions created by COVID-19.

Banker, Mere Tikotani, expressed her joy after Ministry of Health and Medical services Permanent Secretary Dr James Fong confirmation that children Under 17 years and were not vaccinated will be allowed to attend places of worship provided, they are accompanied by their vaccinated parents.

Ms Tikotani said she is looking forward after the announcement on the October 4 easing of restrictions.

She is also reminding those planning to attend their respective places of worship to adhere to all COVID-19 safety guidelines because Fijians are not out of the woods yet.
