Tokalauvere Is Samabula Primary Head Boy

Viliame Tokalauvere is now Samabula Primary School’s head boy.
This was a leadership achievement for the 13-year-old as he dreamt of becoming a leader, much like his father who is in the Fiji Navy.
“I feel that I have achieved something new this year and that all my hard work has paid off,” he said.

Viliame also said his father had motivated him to pursue leadership qualities.
“My father is my inspiration. He is also a leader in his own career, he is the captain of the ship and he knows what it is like to be a leader,” he said.
“He is in the navy and is currently in Vanua Levu with the Governor-General. He has been teaching me the qualities of being a leader.”
Viliame’s message for those who did not become a leader this year was to keep trying.
Head girl, Taanvi Prasad, 12, said her becoming a head girl was unexpected.
She said confidence, tolerance, and hard work were some qualities a leader should have. .
