Tower’s Self-Service and Kadavu on top list

Veilawa Raraiwasaliwa looks after the digital distribution in the Pacific for Tower In­surance.

He was working at ANZ Bank for 16 years in various roles before joining Tower four years ago.

“Over the last couple of months we rolled out a digital self-service to where customers can go online to quote an insurance policy with­out being in touch physically with Tower, and even pay for it online too,” he said.

“At the moment we’re working with banks and other partners to get more customers online.

“In that way, customers can buy a policy themselves, and if they’ve got any complex queries for claims or they want more clarity on a par­ticular feature or product, they can give us a call and talk.”

How many places have you visited around Fiji?

I have been to many places in Fiji.

What is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to?

Taveuni is the place to be, for its lovely waterfalls at Bouma, the slides and the Lavena waterfalls are pretty exciting.

What is your favourite place for cof­fee/pie?

The Moments Cafe in town be­cause it is closer to work. They have refurbished recently and have great customer service.

What is your favourite backyard spot?

My friend lives in Togalevu near the Naval base, we would often go on a boat ride to Namuka Island for swimming and fishing.

What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list?

Kadavu. It is the only province I have never been to and I’d like to visit at some point in time.
