Trio Appeal in March, Qionibaravi's Notice Deferred
The former Members of Parliament were each charged with one count of giving false information to a public servant and obtaining financial advantages.

Former Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) Members of Parliament, Niko Nawaikula, Salote Radrodro and Tui Namosi Ratu Suliano Matanitobua will have their appeals heard in March.
The date was given by Judge Justice Isikeli Mataitoga who heard the case at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
Radrodro and Ratu Suliano will have their matter heard on March 1, and Nawaikula will have his case heard on March 4.

Meanwhile former SODELPA MP, Adi Litia Qionibaravi’s Notice of Abandonment will be heard at a later date.
Adi Litia had filed for the Notice on December 18, 2023, after the Fiji Independence Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) had indicated in 2022 that she wasn’t fit to stand trial given her medical condition.
She was also charged with one count of giving false information to a public servant and obtaining financial advantages.
