TSLS Board Shut Down Claims On '600m In Student Loans Forgiven'
This comment comes after board member and wife of the Assistant Minister for Finance Esrom Immanuel, Penuel Emi, claimed in her Facebook post that it was agreed that the $600 million in tertiary education student loans had been forgiven.

The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) board confirmed yesterday said there was no discussion in the change in policy after meetings they had with the new ministers, assistant ministers and permanent secretaries.
This comment comes after board member and wife of the Assistant Minister for Finance Esrom Immanuel, Penuel Emi, claimed in her Facebook post that it was agreed that the $600 million in tertiary education student loans had been forgiven.
The post has since been removed.
