Tudravu Tells: New Opportunities

Former Deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu ended his 39-year policing career yesterday with overwhelming mixed emotions filled with joy and sadness.
When the Fiji Sun visited him at his residence he was handing over policing uniform that he had worn over the course of his career.
He declined to give an interview but took to social media to convey his sincere gratitude and appreciation to those who have supported him over the years.

“I exit the Fiji Police content with the knowledge that I have given my very best.
“As I pack away my uniform for the final time, I am saddened but excited with the journey that lies ahead for me and my family.”
He said new opportunities have been presented to him for which he is grateful for.
“To the Commissioner of Police and all serving members of the Fiji Police Force I wish you all well,” he said.
“I will always support the organisation until the day I am called to be with my maker.
“Finally to the young up and coming officers, I pray that you will never lose sight of the importance of the police uniform.
“Continue to live, eat, sleep and bleed policing.
“Keep flying the Fiji Police flag proudly.”
