Tui Nausori, Ratu Lepani To Be Buried On Friday
The late Turaga na Ratu, Tui Nausori, Na iTaukei Vunivivi, Ratu Lepani Tudau Tagicakibau, will be laid to rest at the Sau Tabu, the chiefly burial grounds, Nausori, on Friday.

The late Turaga na Ratu, Tui Nausori, Na iTaukei Vunivivi, Ratu Lepani Tudau Tagicakibau, will be laid to rest at the Sau Tabu, the chiefly burial grounds, Nausori, on Friday.
Ratu Lepani died on June 13.
The announcement was made by his eldest daughter Mereia Tuinasakea Tagicakibau.

He is from the mataqali (clan) Nailagobokola, of the yavusa (tribe) Vunivivi.
Ratu Lepani was installed on September 25, 2015.
“It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I, on behalf of our mother, siblings, our children and the extended family, announce the passing of the late Ratu, Turaga na Tui Nausori, iTaukei Vunivivi, the late Ratu Lepani Tudau Tagicakibau,” Ms Tagicakibau said.
“Ratu was called to rest a little after 4pm on June 13, 2023,” the announcement stated.
“The official reguregu begins on Wednesday, June 21 at the Nausori Village hall.
A thanksgiving service will be held at the Nausori Methodist Church, Nausori Village on Friday, June 23, before he is laid to rest at the Sau Tabu, the chiefly burial grounds, Nausori.
