Cultural Heritage Preservation-

The reconstruction project is a dedicated effort to preserve and promote the cultural heritage embodied by the Vale ni Bose, ensuring that future generations can connect with the rich history and traditions of the iTaukei community.

Upon traditionally accepting the request for the reconstruction or ‘yavalati ni yavu’ , the Tui Suva stated in iTaukei, that this was a historic moment for Fiji, reflecting the commitment to preserving and celebrating the unique cultural identity of the iTaukei people.

He said the project was not just about physical reconstruction, but also about revitalising our iTaukei cultural roots and ensuring a legacy for generations to come.
