Tui Vitogo, 73, Dies After Short Illness

The vanua o Sukanacagi is in mourn­ing following the death of its chief, Tui Vitogo Ratu Wiliame Ratudale Sovasova.

Ratu Wiliame died in his sleep at his resi­dence on Tuesday after a short illness. He was 73-years-old.

Under traditional protocols, the news of the Tui Vitogo passing was being relayed through heralds to other chiefly house­holds before being publicised.

The Fiji Sun understands that the funer­al is expected to take place next week.
