Three years ago Jese Tuilaucala made a decision to use his tithe to feed the homeless.
Tithe is one tenth of annual produce or earnings, formerly taken as a tax for the support of the church and clergy.

The Fiji Sun witnessed how the homeless people in Suva lined up beside Mr Tuilaucala’s vehicle to receive food.
“I never wanted to show people what I have been doing. My family does not attend church and this is what we do and that is to help people who really need it,” Mr Tuilaucala said.
“I do this every Friday. I believe that these people really need the help.
“For my family this is what we can do for them.”
Mr Tuilaucala said sometimes his friends helped him to feed the homeless.
“I always target to feed those who are mentally challenged and senior citizens.
The senior citizens are mostly at one place so I go to them instead of them coming to me,” he said.
“I went through some struggles of my own and I know how they feel.
We have different beliefs when it comes to tithing, but I believe that this is the people who need it the most.”
