It was a special day for a couple who yesterday badged their twin daughters to leadership roles at Sacred Heart College.
The sisters, Elena and Rusila Rakabale are the eldest of five siblings.
Mother Ana Rakabale said: “We’re excited and very happy that both our daughters get to be chosen today as leaders of Sacred Heart College.”

Father, Iowane Rakabale who is in the military knows too well what leadership entails. Hence, his daughters’ achievements made him proud, he said.
He could not stop smiling to show his gratitude.
The surprised Rabakele twins from Waivaka in Namosi are ready to take on the challenge assigned to them.
Elena, the deputy head girl, is a pure science student who wants to become a doctor.
Her twin, Rusila, a senior prefect, prefers to work in a financial corporation after pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce.
“We will lead by example and be role models to the students,” Elena said.
Meanwhile, Laisenia Qiritilau from Lakeba, Lau, and Charissa Sosefo from Rotuma were the first in their families to be inducted as head prefects.
The school has a roll of 536 students.
