Two children were victims of separate motor vehicle accidents this afternoon.
The first incident occurred at Wailekutu in Lami when a 9-year-old boy was accidentally bumped by a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old man residing at Jittu Estate.
The 9-year-old child allegedly ran across the road when the accident occurred.

The suspect is being interviewed at the Lami Police Station.
In the second accident that occurred along the Waicoba Valley Road, a 5-year-old boy who is alleged to have suddenly crossed the road was bumped by a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old man from Loma Valley Road.
The victim was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
The driver is being questioned.
