Two critical after alleged high-speed crash in Nadi
Police say an alleged dangerous overtaking manoeuvre caused a three-vehicle collision.

A vehicle driven by a 21-year-old man allegedly travelling at high speed along Queens Road in Martintar, Nadi, last Saturday night was involved in a three-vehicle accident that left two people critically injured.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the driver allegedly overtook a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old woman and clipped the side of her vehicle, causing it to veer into the opposite lane and collide with another vehicle driven by a 42-year-old man.
The man was travelling with two passengers.

“The 42-year-old driver and the 38-year-old woman remain in critical condition at Nadi Hospital,” Ms Naisoro said.
“The 21-year-old suspect and a 16-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the third vehicle, were transferred to Lautoka Hospital.”
Ms Naisoro said investigations were continuing.
