Two Deaths, Curfew for Vanua Levu From 5pm Today

The National Disaster Management Office has confirmed two deaths following Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa.

Director Vasiti Soko confirmed one death in the West and another in the Northern division.

All public transportation can operate as normal but precaution must be taken, she said.

Supermarkets can also open.

Curfew hours for the whole of Viti-Levu will commence from 8pm today till 4am tomorrow.

For those residing in Vanua Levu, curfew hours will be from 5pm today to 6am tomorrow.

From tomorrow, all curfews will return to COVID-19 hours - 11pm to 4am.
