Two People Critical After Road Accident

Two people are in critical condition at Labasa Hospital after an accident along the Sekawa Stretch in Savusavu on Thursday night.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Warne Bautolu alleged the crash occurred around 8pm when a 30-year-old farmer who was driving the vehicle lost control and collided with a parked truck.

"The driver and a 23-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries," Sergeant Bautolu said.

"They are now in Labasa Hospital in serious conditions."

This is the third vehicle accident reported in the Northern Division in the past two weeks.
