Two women dead in Naboutini head-on crash
The national road death toll now stands at 67, compared with 54 for the same period last year.

Two women have died following a head-on collision along the Queens Road in Naboutini yesterday, the Fiji Police Force has confirmed.
Police say one of the victims was driving a vehicle that allegedly veered onto the opposite lane, colliding head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
The woman driving the first vehicle died at the scene. A second woman travelling with her was rushed to the Navua Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead by medical staff.

The driver of the oncoming vehicle sustained injuries and was treated at the Navua Hospital.
Police investigations are continuing.
