UN Rep In Fiji, Pacific On Leave Pending An 'Investigation'
The Office of the United Nations to Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu has confirmed that Resident Coordinator Sanaka Samarasinha is on administrative leave pending an “investigation”.

The Office of the United Nations to Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu has confirmed that Resident Coordinator Sanaka Samarasinha is on administrative leave pending an “investigation”.
The office clarified that the administrative leave facilitates the investigation and was not a disciplinary measure.
The office could not delve further into the investigation and said that all due process rights would be respected.
