Uncle Charged With Rape Of Niece, 13

The man who allegedly raped his 13 year-old niece ap­peared before High Court judge, Justice Rangajeeva Wimala­sena, in Lautoka on Thursday.

The accused is charged with one count of rape and one count of as­sault with intent to commit rape.

The alleged incident took place on September 13 of 2018 in Sigatoka.

Bail for the accused has been extended. The case has been ad­journed to March 28.
